VAMS K-9 Handler Tactical Operational Medicine Course is designed to meet the needs of Operational K-9 Handlers, First Responders and combat medics supporting K-9 operations. Handlers and or providers serving in an area with the potential for an encounter with a sick or wounded K-9. This 24 hour comprehsive course focusing on the TCCC guidelines as well as focuses on the trauma, illnesses and environmental emergencies that we can encounter when K-9s are deployed.
